Eleanor Caputo was an artist from a very young age with a keen eye for composition. She won a small scholarship to an art school for grade-schoolers, which helped her talent blossom.
Her love for art grew into a love for photography, and at 17, she landed her first paying job as a photographer going door-to-door with a pony and a cowboy outfit making and selling children’s portraits.
Her keen eye and photographic skills helped her transition her career into a successful business - Studio 18 Galleries - as a talented self-made, graphic designer and award-winning published photographer. Eleanor is known for being extremely versatile, working in various medias, from advertising design, to product packaging design, to architectural remodel renderings, to photographic still life, scenic, B&W and digitally restored photos.
Her latest achievement is the release of her new children’s book “Milton the Maple Leaf,” which is available in hardcover and paperback.
Eleanor was awarded the GRAND PRIZE in, “Outdoor Photographer Magazine’s Your Favorite Places Contest 2009.” You can also find her published works in such magazines as, “B&W Magazine’s Single Image Contest Annual 2005” and “Popular Photography.” You can also find her work on Amazon.com, Photo Workshop “Photos That Inspire,” Ovation TV's “Anthology of Friends” Volumes 1 & 2, available at blurb.com.
